Program Options and Fees
Cattledog Dreams has two programs for helping
Cattle Dog owners re-home their dogs. To qualify
for either program, all dogs must be healthy, dog
and people friendly, spayed or neutered and
current on shots. Cattledog Dreams may be able
to help the owner locate low-cost veterinary
services, if needed.
Foster At Home Program: Owners that can foster
their dog at home during the adoption process can
participate in the re-homing program by paying a
$50 evaluation fee to have their dog evaluated for
the program and placed on the Cattledog Dreams
website (which is linked to Pet Finder). No fee is
charged for the evaluation if the dog is not
accepted into the program.
Immediate Surrender Program: Owners that
cannot foster their dog at home must pay the $50
evaluation fee (refundable if not accepted into the
program) and a $150 boarding fee before their dog
can be accepted into the program. At that point,
Cattledog Dreams accepts ownership of the dog
and all responsibility for its care and placement.
