This recipe is a modified version of the "Puppy
Formula" in Dr. Pitcairn's Complete Guide to
Natural Health for Dogs & Cats
, by RIchard H.
Pitcairn, DVM, PhD.

Provides approximately six 1/3 c. servings
(enough for six 4 pound puppies)

1 c. whole goat's milk
3/4 c. half-and-half
2 large eggs
2 scoops (31 grams) Trader Darwin's Vanilla     
Flavored Whey Protein Powder (quick
dissolve variety with 21 vitamins and
minerals)

Place all ingredients in a quart sized jar and
whisk until smooth.  Refrigerate until needed.
For puppies under 8 weeks, warm to body
temperature just before serving by placing in
the microwave for about 30 seconds.  

Nutritional Profile:  Each 1/3 cup serving
provides approximately 116 calories, with 57%
coming from fat, 25% protein and 18%
carbohydrates.    The calcium/phosphorus ratio
is approximately 1:1

    skin)
